Information about ED treatment options in BC (with a focus on Vancouver Island)

Inpatient treatment options are limited in BC. The only public inpatient program is at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. VIVED offers an updated overview of treatment options in BC including some residential options like The Looking Glass Residence and Discovery/Vista (both located in Vancouver).

Tip: Caregivers and other concerned loved ones are often welcome to use helplines and other ED/recovery resources, even if they don't have an eating disorder themselves!

The workbooks below were developed by professionals and can be used as self-help guides or with a clinician. They are an Australian resource, but they are recommended by some BC-based eating disorder clinicians.

Tip: Programs like these often have long wait lists (as do many ED programs). Apply for help ASAP to ensure that you can get access to these programs once you are ready.
